Bude for Food – back for a second year, from 18th-20th September. This year there will be even more to experience – 60 Artisan food and drink producers, comedy from TV’s Shappi Khorsandi, and cool toons from the amazing Antimatador and Bad Core Horns! Now an annual event, Bude for Food is back this September at the Castle grounds for a fantastic weekend of food, music and comedy
Friday night: Launch party – ‘Comedy at the Castle’
Friday kicks off the weekend with the internationally renowned ‘Shappi Khorsandi’ of Q.I, Have I got news for you, Live at the Apollo fame!
Open from 4pm for dinner, drinks & kids entertainment on the Castle grounds in the global street food quarter.
Saturday night: Live music night
Last year saw the advent of the new epic band ‘Antimatador’ who are back from a tour across the UK to rock the house with their full live show & horn section, along with spin off band ‘The Bad Core Horns’ who have just supported Otis Redding to rave reviews!
Both acts feature local legend and twice British music composer of the year – the super talented Simon Dobson. Supporting is very special guest, Harry Collier (of Faithless and Rootjoose fame) plus DJs and the Big Beat drummers who will be drumming up a storm in the gardens before the show – audience participation expected!!
There will be over 60 artisan food producers in the marque, with amazing cookery demos from famous chefs. Enjoy delicious food all weekend from our global street food quarter and scrummy drinks from our Cornish
