THE STABLES

STABLES
Broomhill has its own licensed riding stables, with a lovely selection of horses and ponies.
We are able to provide rides for anyone from 5 years old, from first time riders, to the more experienced. We also provide short pony rides around the Estate for the very young (including under 5) or very nervous!!

BOOKING
The stables are situated behind the outdoor swimming pool. If you are interested in riding, please feel free to call in at the stables to see Jo and the team and book a ride or call Jo on 07886 434740.

OPENING
During High Season and school holidays, we are generally open from Sunday to Friday between 9am and 5pm. In the lower seasons the stables tend to close earlier – please see notice-board in reception for details.

CONTACT
If there is nobody about when you call at the stables we are probably out on a ride. You can leave a message by calling Jo Cook, Stables Manager, on 07886 434740.

CLOTHING
Please ensure that you wear suitable footwear, i.e. enclosed foot with low heel (wellies are ideal!)

HATS
We can provide current British Standard riding hats free of charge.

TARIFF
Short pony rides £10.00

Cliff Rides 2 hours £100 (Experienced only)

Group rides 1 hour £55 / £45 (Experienced / Novice)

Group rides 1/2 hour £25.00 (Novice only and only by prior arrangement)

Private Group/Family rides can be accommodated at certain times by prior arrangement.

RIDING TIMES
Riding sessions take place each day (except Saturdays)
Pony rides 9.30am
Experienced Group rides 10.00am
Novice Group Rides 10.00am, 11.30am, 2.00pm, 3.30pm
Riding is available every day except Saturdays when the horses get a day off!
The staff and ponies hope to see you down at the stables very soon!
