OUTDOOR SPORTS AND LEISURE FACILITIES
TENNIS
Racquets and balls are available in Reception, but please be sure to return them after use.
The court has an all-weather surface that is very quick to dry after rain but can be easily damaged by incorrect footwear.
PLEASE WEAR TENNIS SHOES OR FLAT SOLED SHOES ONLY.
There is a form in Reception where you can make court reservations. The principle is that you can play as much tennis as you like but please only make one reservation of one hour at a time.
OUTDOOR SWIMMING POOL
The outdoor pool is available for use, from 9am until 9pm, during the summer months.
Please keep the gate latched to prevent youngsters from wandering in. THERE IS NO LIFEGUARD. Facilities are used entirely at your own risk. Children Under 16 must be supervised at all times.
PLEASE NOTE: From May 2022 the pool no longer has a deep end. The maximum depth of the pool is 1.2m, so NO DIVING is allowed.
PLAY AREAS
The play areas are situated in the grounds, one to the left of the main lawn and the other close to the approach to the lower gardens. Please supervise the under 12s while they use the play equipment and ensure they do so safely. The play equipment is SLIPPERY WHEN WET.
The trampoline has safety mesh around it to alleviate falls and accidents, but please do not allow more than one person to use the trampoline at a time.
BOULES
The Boules court is located by the children’s play area. Adult and children’s boules are available to
borrow from reception.
