“The Clinch family have had a great time – it’s been a long time since we last visited Broomhill Manor, we won’t be leaving it so long to return next time. As always Broomhill, Bude, facilities, the people make the visitors welcome, enjoy their holidays, and the welcome with clotted cream and scones was a lovely gesture.

The Clinch family highly recommend Broomhill Manor for a fun relaxing family holiday. Thank You

Ps. Keep up the good work. ”

“We have loved our stay at Broomhill Manor. My son, 7 had a fantastic holiday too. Enjoyed the very lovely facilities at the premises itself. The treatment room facilities were the icing on the cake. Last but not least, Alan was perfect host. Loved the cream tea on arrival and the little detail of providing a pint of milk which for us was very helpful since we checked in so late. All in all, loved every bit of the holiday and would surely come back soon.”

The Oberoi Family stayed in Chough, April 2015

“Had a lovely 3 night stay and have left feeling relaxed and refreshed.  Facilities are fantastic.  Highly recommend “Olive Tree” in Bude for a great, reasonably priced lunch “Tasty Pasties” for the best tasting Cornish pasties. Would definitely recommend to all.”

“We have such a wonderful holiday here in Chough.  Our daughters Eloise (8) and Daisy (5) loved the freedom of the beautiful outdoor space, play areas and of course the ponies.  Every day in both pools and the Jacuzzi.  My husband and I have had a very relaxing week as the girls have been so happy here.  We visited our favourite beach – Treyarnon Bay 1 hr drive.  We shall be recommending Broomhill to everyone.”

The White family stayed in Chough, August 2014

“First timers to Broomhill and Cornwall and have not been disappointed!  The accommodation had everything we needed with our 2 year old trying out a big bed for the first time too!  It was clean, lovely towels and plenty of them and the use of the laundry was v. useful with two little ones!  The surprise cream tea on arrival was a lovely touch – will definitely be recommending to others. The kids used both pools (a lot), Suzi and Misprint the ponies several times and the weather played ball and was fabulous so we visited several beaches.”

The Abbiss family stayed in Chough, June 2014

“We have had a lovely 1st family holiday here at the Round House cottage.  Cottage was so clean and comfy.  The gardens are beautiful.  We had great weather, with the exception of one day, so made the most of the outdoors, with our puppy, Alfie, and 6 month old, Sophie.”

The Fountain family stayed in Round House, June 2014

“Fab week here for half term.  Weather amazing! Widemouth Bay great for surf and rock pools.  Elements great for food and lovely kids menu. Rest of the time we spent here in the fantastically warm swimming pool (for hours a day!!), the gym (not for hours a day!) and the horseriding stables.  The gymkhana on Friday for the kids was such good fun.  We will definitely be back.”

“Wonderful week’s stay.  Plenty to see and do locally and further afield.  Great golf course in Bude.  Walks along the cliffs give great views.  Clovelly, Hartland Point and Lighthouse, Boscastle, Tintagel all worth a visit.  Broomhill Manor is a fantastic place to relax.  The facilities could not be better.  Linda and Alan are great hosts.  The cottage itself is very well stocked and the beds are very comfortable.  Just what you need after a days walking.  A swim and Jacuzzi.  We will be back, as we have enjoyed it so much.”

“We have tried different cottage complexes over the past 2 years and the experience at your place far surpasses any of them; hence the reason we are returning!! In fact we booked this holiday with you whilst we were on the second day of our holiday in Great Torrington last May. Whilst the weather was pretty good, the complex wasn’t up to your high standard. So you see, it’s not all down to the weather!!”

The Sampson family stayed in Manor House Apartment, May 2014

“We’ve had a great week – lovely accommodation & facilities & even good weather! We’ve all enjoyed it – including Maddy our German Shepherd, who’s been made to feel very welcome by everyone here. This is actually my 4th visit – although last time I was a teenager (27 years ago!) …..the hot-tub is definitely a pleasant addition! Hazel’s therapies, the pools, games room & gym have been well utilised! And Nicky’s food was excellent. It’s highly likely that we’ll make a return visit soon.”

Steve, Helen, Lauren and Maddy stayed in Woodlark, August 2013

“Just a quick email to thank you and your staff for making our holiday absolutely superb. As you know this was our first time back to Broomhill for a few years after spending our entire childhood here, and I must admit I was slightly concerned it would not live up to my high expectations. But I must say it certainly did! I was so happy (and relieved) to see that despite the obvious improvements you’ve made to the place, the original charm of the place still exists ……… My son had an absolutely wonderful first holiday and we are already planning on coming back next year!”

The Solt family stayed in Swallow and House Cottage, July 2013

“A fantastic week in Swallow with our family in Woodlark and Sandpiper. The cottages are well furnished and maintained and we received a great welcome. Swallow was just what we needed, compact and cosy! We rented bikes from Bude Bike Hire and explored the local area; there’s easy access on the lanes to Bude. The weather was fantastic – wall to wall sun and warm. Our grandchildren loved the horses and Bethany helped in the stables and on the rides. We last visited Broomhill in 1986, now we plan a return visit ASAP! PS: We were impressed with the quality of the tennis equipment and all the facilities”

The Knight family stayed in Swallow, Cormorant and Woodlark, April 2014

“What a wonderful Christmas we have had! A delight to find the cottage in a festive way with a Christmas tree erected (we normally have to bring our own, this year it stayed in the bag). Sharing Christmas with family in Heron and Cormorant, we had the perfect set-up – a Jacuzzi (hot tub) and enough room for 13 at Christmas dinner. Very impressed with the facilities and the obviously on-going maintenance of the Cottages. We will most definitely be back.”

The Gould family stayed in Swallow, Heron and Cormorant, December 2013

“Perfect family birthday venue! Charlotte my daughter, was 30 on the 21st March and 17 members of the family and friends, descended on Broomhill Manor to celebrate. The welcome was fantastic and the facilities top notch. Thank you so much for all you did, especially the use of the bar for the birthday celebration. All unforgettable!”

The Busby family and friends stayed in Sandpiper, Heron, Cormorant, Woodlark and Swallow, March 2014

“Another great holiday at Broomhill which is ideal the two of us, but has something for Dad as well. (Dunlin is an ideal cottage with its ensuite bathrooms so we don’t disturb each other at night.) We like to go walking (the coastal path has stunning views) while Dad can “potter” in the lovely grounds, have a massage or take a stroll to the local pub at lunch time. There are things we can do together also, such as swimming in the heated indoor pool and playing snooker in the bar. And then out for a slap up meal – would recommend Life’s A Beach at Summerleaze beach. We shall return!”

The Taylor family stayed in Dunlin, May 2014

“Thank you very much for an enjoyable stay at Broomhill Manor. The grounds and cottages are absolutely gorgeous and the facilities are really modern and excellent for families. The town of Bude is very charming and the location of Broomhill Manor is great for being close to a lot of beaches. Broomhill is perfectly situated. We have spent most days on the beach and visited Crackington Haven for an impressive walk, Boscastle and Tintagel. There is so much more to do and we fully intend to return and pick up where we left off. Thank you so much Linda and Alan”

We would love to come back again …..we will be sure to recommend. Thank you for a wonderful week.”

“We have visited Broomhill Manor in August for the last 3 years with our 3 children, now aged 13,11 and 7. It ticks all the boxes for us and this year we were fortunate to be blessed with warm, dry and sunny weather.”

Anna White

“Having spent my entire childhood holidaying at Broomhill, I was a bit concerned that coming back 10 years later with my own baby may be a bit disappointing. How wrong I was! While there have been improvements (such as wifi, newly decorated, hot tub) the general charm of the place remains the same as it did 25 years ago when we first visited. Everything about Broomhill is simply superb and I could not recommend it highly enough for anyone with kids.”

Broomhill Manor Outdoor Pool
Richard Black

“Superbly equipped cottages, hot tub, sauna, indoor & outdoor pools, indoor & outdoor children’s play facilities, loads of green space and car free. Dog Friendly too. Back for a second time. Can’t fault it. Broomhill has something for everyone. Young, old and in between. We would come back again in a heartbeat.”
